Psychedelic Songs

THE BEATLES PSYCHEDELIC SONGS

This show is based on the Beatles songs that were born after 1966. Beside the great hits of this era there are some more special songs in the set (such as Am The Walrus, Dr. Robert, Tomorrow Never Knows, Lovely Rita, Yer Blues, I've Got A Feeling, Etc...) The ultimate songs of the hippy movement are performed in clothes that take you right back in the colorful world of the late 60’s. If you mention The Beatles most people can’t help thinking about the four guys from Liverpool in uniform suits shaking their mushroom heads simultaneously playing the song She Loves You. But there was another face of the band: Beside the talent and routine of composing, they were inspired by the fast changing of the world in the 60’s and the common use of psychedelic drugs to write songs that were something like nobody had ever heard or imagined before.
It started with the LP Revolver and extended in the album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Hippies, colorful dresses, flowers, the strengthening desire for peace, and “the summer of love” in 1967 made history. A few more LP-s, the first heavy metal song in history (Helter Skelter) came along, and The Beatles and the 60’s waved goodbye to the world.

If technically possible, a psychedelic background screening may be added to the production.
