In the second half of December 2009, the building in which The BlackBirds used to rehearse and stored their equipment has burnt to ashes. George (our drummer) immediately tried to extinguish the fire. But when he realized that it was impossible he started to save as many instruments as he could. Unfortunately, besides the building, 95% of the instruments and equipment was lost in the fire. Thankfully none of the members were injured. We won't give up and will work on replacing the loss...
